If you ever change your wifi router or password, or if you recharge your device after it has had a dead battery for a few days, you may need to restart the ionic over again to get it to connect to bluetooth or wifi again. Basically that left me with being able to use my home wifi network, or open access networks that connect automatically. To restart the ionic you actually have to hold the left button and the bottom right button for a pretty long time, more than a couple of seconds, and then the logo will appear. Restarting the ionic and resetting the time zone was what helped me. I troubleshooted according to their instructions in this forum but realized their instructions were not entirely clear.
